Why is CMA issuing digital membership cards? 

  • Digital membership cards are a convenient, eco-friendly alternative to physical membership cards.  Digital cards allow us to deliver your membership card to you faster, and going digital means that you never have to worry about losing your membership card! 

 

Do I have to use the digital membership card?  

  • No. You can request a physical version of your membership card; one for each named adult. The first printing of physical membership cards is complimentary. Any replacement membership cards will cost $5 per card and may be purchased in-person on your next visit. 

 

Will digital membership cards change the arrival and check-in process? 

  • No. CMA Members are still required to show their printed or digital version of their membership card AND photo ID upon arrival at the Museum. 

 

I’m a new member. When will I receive my digital membership card? 

  • New memberships are processed within a few hours of purchase. Once your membership is processed, you will receive an email with instructions to download and access your new digital membership card. Membership cards will be sent to the primary email address on the membership record. Primary members will need to forward this email to all named adults listed on the email, as each digital membership card link is unique to each adult.  

 

 I am an existing member. How will I receive my digital membership card?  

  • All current members will receive an email with instructions to download and access your new digital membership card. Membership cards will be sent to the primary email address on the membership record. I am not sure that I received my digital membership card via email. Can you send it to me again? 

  • Yes! Please contact the Museum membership department at 404-527-5910 and provide us with your first and last name and email address so we can resend you the email to download your digital membership card.  

 

How do I add the digital membership card to my phone? 

  • All users have option to download digital membership cards in PDF format and save to your phone and other devices. 
  • Android users can quickly access digital membership cards using Google Wallet, available in the Google Play store. After you have the app, open the email you received from the Museum to access the digital membership card and click “Add to Google Wallet.“ Your membership card can be accessed in your Google Wallet at any time. 
  •  iPhone users can access the digital membership card we sent to you via email and click “Add to Wallet”. The card will automatically go to your iPhone’s Apple Wallet. Your membership card can be accessed in your Wallet at any time. 

 

There are two named members on my membership. How can the second member receive a digital card? 

  • The email with download instructions will be sent to the primary member’s email address. Once the primary member has downloaded their digital card, they can share the email with the second named member so they can download their membership card. Membership card links are unique to each named adult on the membership.  

 

What happens when I renew or upgrade my membership?  

  • Membership card will automatically update in Google Wallets the day after you upgrade or renew your membership. Apple Wallet users will need to redownload membership cards to your phone when you renew or update  membership information.   

 

I’m still having trouble with my digital membership card.  

  • We are here to help. Please reach out to the Museum membership department at 404-527-5910 or [email protected] 
  • 10% off general admission for accompanying guests (admission must be purchased by a named member). Once you login to our system on the ticketing page, the discount will be applied for additional general admission tickets. Call Reservations, Monday – Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at 404-527-3693 to receive the discount when reserving your tickets.
  • Discounts on select ticketed Museum events, Museum Store purchases, and Parties.

  • MILITARY
    • Military families receive $10 off when purchasing a Museum membership.  
    • Military ID must be presented to receive the military discount.   
    • This purchase must be made in person at the Museum. Not applicable with any other offer. (Some restrictions may apply)

  • EDUCATOR
    • Educators receive $10 off when purchasing a museum membership.  
    • A valid Educator ID or Georgia Declaration of Intent form must be presented to receive the special educator discounted rate. 
    • This purchase must be made in person at the Museum. Not applicable with any other offer. (Some restrictions may apply)

The first hour of play is reserved exclusively for our Members! Join us Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM for our Members-Only Hour and stay as long as you wish!  Walk-up tickets are available, though Members are encouraged to reserve tickets for admission during peak times like holidays and school breaks. $5 Admission Discount Vouchers may be redeemed by reserving this ticket type online and surrendering vouchers at the time of entry. You can also contact our Reservations Team at 404-527-3693 for ticketing support. If the voucher is not provided at the time of entry, the regular admission price will be charged.  

Membership does not guarantee Museum admission. Admission is based on capacity. By reserving tickets in advance your admissions are secured. 
 

Memberships are not valid for entry for field trips, parties or special events.   

 

Renewing members not currently enrolled in Automatic Renewal are encouraged to visit the Membership – Join/Renew page, visit our Welcome Center, or call our Membership Department at 404-527-5910 to renew and learn about auto renewal.

Membership purchasers are encouraged to self-enroll in Automatic Renewal. This ensures access to the Museum with no lapse in your CMA member benefits from year to year. The membership will renew automatically on the day it expires.

Member households who enroll in Automatic Renewal will receive notification via email 30 days prior to their membership's expiration date that their renewal will process. The Museum will charge the current membership price to the credit card used during the initial purchase. An additional email will be sent after payment has been processed. This is your receipt and a record of your tax-deductible contribution to the Museum (memberships are 100% tax-deductible). 

Our Welcome Center and our Membership Department can assist you with enrolling an active membership into Automatic Renewal, changing the card on file, removing the membership from Automatic Renewal, and answering any questions you may have. 

Memberships are valid for one year and expire on the last day of the month purchased. Memberships enrolled in automatic renewals will be renewed on the last day of their membership and the current membership fee charged to the credit card on file. 

Museum memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. All adults on the membership must be named. Picture ID and Membership cards are required at every visit. 

Take us for a test drive first. Purchase admission tickets online, and if you choose to become a member by the end of your visit, we’ll apply a portion of your pre-tax ticket price to the purchase of a membership. Some restrictions apply. 

Two of Us + Guest, Family, Family + Guest, Extended Family and Extended Family + Guest Memberships receive ACM Reciprocity. Receive 50% off general admission for up to 6 people into over 200 children’s museums around the United States, Canada, and Caribbean. The card holder must be present for discounted admission. Your CMA membership card will have an ACM logo confirming reciprocity.  We recommend calling the museum you are visiting to confirm their admission and ticketing policy. All memberships are 100% tax-deductible. A receipt for tax purposes will be given at time of purchase or included in your welcome packet. Please consult your tax adviser for more details. 

  • Your membership packet will be issued immediately if your membership is purchased in person.
  • Memberships purchased online or over the phone are available for pickup on the first visit to the Museum.
  • In your packet, you will receive a membership card for each listed adult on the membership, $5 vouchers (dependent upon your membership level), and a tax-deductible receipt.
  • Packets may be held if all information has not been provided at the time of purchase.
