SENSORY FRIENDLY PLAY TIME

The Museum opens early for families with children on the autism spectrum and children with sensory processing disorders. 

We offer a sensory-modified experience on select Sunday mornings.This experience includes a sensory-modified setting, limited admission and sound adjustments. 

We also have a social story to help prepare families for their Museum experience.

Admission pricing during our sensory friendly play time is $15.95 plus tax per person for non-members and free for members. Advance ticket purchase is required.

Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,000 museums throughout the United States. At Children's Museum of Atlanta starting February 1, SNAP EBT card holders will receive general admission for up to 6 individuals at $3 per ticket.  Advance online ticket purchase highly encouraged, walk up tickets are limited. A valid SNAP EBT card and photo ID are required upon arriving at the Museum. Learn more about the national program Museums for All.
