A day at the Museum includes a variety of hands-on and creative activities. All daily programs are included in the price of admission. 

ART STUDIO

Our open-concept Art Studio invites kids into the creative process! 

Educational Focus: Art, Crafts, Creativity 

  • Express yourself and explore your creative side in our space specially dedicated to the Arts! Enjoy a different activity every month, each with a unique focus on the development of different artistic techniques, while encouraging self-expression! 
  • Studio is open from: 
    • Weekdays – 12:30 PM to 3:15 PM 
    • Weekends – 9:30 AM to 4:15 PM 
  • Located on the main level of the Museum in Let Your Creativity Flow 
  • Drop-in, space permitting 

JANE'S INNOVATION STATION

Get hands-on with the engineering design process in our new design challenge studio space! 

Educational Focus: Engineering, Making, Problem-solving, Persistence 

  • Imagine, plan and create innovative solutions to design challenges. Test and improve your creation then share what you've learned! 
  • Programming will take place from: 
    • Weekdays – 10:00 AM to 3:15 PM 
    • Weekends – 10:00 AM to 4:15 PM 
  • Located on the mezzanine level of the Museum just beyond the Science Bar 
  • Drop-in, space permitting 

SCIENCE BAR

Step on up to the Science Bar and order an exciting experiment! 

Educational Focus: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math 

  • Sit down with our CMA experts to explore the wide world of Science, and have a hand in some incredible experiments, demonstrations and exercises! 
  • Programming will take place from: 
    • Weekdays – 10:00 AM to 3:15 PM 
    • Weekends – 10:00 AM to 4:15 PM 
  • Located on the mezzanine level of the Museum 
  • Drop-in, space permitting

We'll dance, sing, tell stories, and more every single day! 

Educational Focus: Arts, Social & Emotional, Literacy, Science, and Movement 

  • Join us at the stage for programs at: 
    • Weekdays - 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM  
    • Weekends - 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM 
  • Located in the back of the Museum 
  • Drop-in, space permitting
