Out of an abundance of caution concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19), Children’s Museum of Atlanta is postponing all evening events including Superhero Science Night on Saturday, March 14. This event will be rescheduled in the coming months.
Ticket holders will receive a full refund. Please allow 7 – 10 business days for refunds to appear on credit card accounts. If you have questions, please contact reservations at 404–527–3693.
At this time, the Museum is open to the public for general operating hours. In accordance with the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control guidelines, the Museum has made the following modifications to daily operations:
- Limited capacity – The Museum will limit guest capacity until further notice. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online.
- Space modifications – Small spaces such as The Build It Lab and Art Studios will be closed until further notice.
- Cleaning Procedures – Our day-to-day cleaning procedures are very comprehensive given the nature of our space. The Museum contracts a cleaning company to handle the day to day cleaning of the facility. We have a porter on site daily to handle spills and restrooms, and our evening crew cleans the Museum utilizing hospital grade cleaning agents. Our Museum staff disinfects all the toys, pretend food, balls, sand tools, etc. nightly and as needed throughout the day.
Updates – The Museum is monitoring the current health situation closely and will continue to keep the safety of our guests first. Please visit our social media pages and website for updates and information.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
