Leaping into Learning
Enter a magical forest, cast your rods, catch colorful fish, and go under our waterfall without getting wet! Climb in our tree house and see animals from the forest. Babies and toddlers will love the bubble wall, play car and little house built just for them.
Children ages 0-9 months have their own space for discovery through hands-on play. This immersive new space for infants and toddlers helps children explore the world around them. They can role play in a house, drive a car, and learn early science skills by playing with the bubble column and a light interactive wall.
Fishing isn't just about fishing! In the Museum's pond, children can "catch" our magnetic fish, and learn about the science of water through different tools to dam our "river" and discover objects that float – and objects that don't.
The Museum's multi-leveled treehouse lets kids climb to get a new perspective on our Leaping Into Learning zone – a tree's eye view. They cross the rickety bridge and climb down the netting – creating their own adventures. When they are tired of climbing up and down, children can create their own puppet plays in the Treehouse Theater.
Watch this space for more information about this new interactive game designed to help children expand their vocabulary and alphabet skills.
