Interns receive valuable life experience and the ability to network and connect with key influencers. The Children’s Museum of Atlanta offers unpaid internships in the following areas:

  • Development
    Goal of Position: Assist the Development Department with projects aimed at maintaining the Museum’s relationship with current donors.
  • Marketing
    The Marketing Intern position at Children’s Museum of Atlanta offers interns hands-on marketing and public relations experience in a non-profit organization.
  • Special Events
    Goal of Position: Assist with the planning and implementation of special events that support the programs and mission of Children’s Museum of Atlanta, while raising awareness and often raising funds for the Museum.


A wide range of volunteer opportunities is available. We welcome people 16 years of age and older with a variety of skills and backgrounds. We ask that all volunteer candidates are able to commit to a significant length of time, whether that be weekly or monthly and/or be available for special events and periodic needs.
