ABOUT CMA YP
At Children’s Museum of Atlanta, our mission is to change the world by sparking every child’s imagination, sense of discovery and learning through the power of play. This fall, CMA is relaunching its Young Professionals program to spread our mission to new audiences and support our fundraising goals to help Atlanta’s Children thrive.
Looking to make a difference in our community? Play is linked to improved cognitive and emotional development, increased creativity, and reduced stress and anxiety. By joining our Young Professionals program, you can make an impact by helping us bring play-based, interactive learning to Atlanta’s children.
Members are asked to attend quarterly meetings, volunteer with programs like Trick-or-Treat or Bubble Bash, and support YP events that are focused on fundraising. As an organization whose mission is centered around play, we want to provide an opportunity for YPs to bring curiosity and joy into their lives. Come join the fun!

OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- As a YP Member, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build connections with other young professionals, grow your impact in the community and invite play into your life
- Attend and support YP events that drive CMA’s mission forward and help us reach fundraising goals
- Volunteer with various Museum initiatives and programs to see our mission in action
- Help broaden and build our community of support in Atlanta
- As a YP member, we ask that you
- Are in the 25-40 age range
- Attend quarterly meetings
- Sign up for at least one volunteer opportunity per year
- Make an annual contribution of at least $50
