Celebrate Nowruz, the Persian New Year!
On Saturday, March 21 at 1:00 PM, our very own Membership Manager, Lana, joins us on stage to teach a celebratory dance to ring in the Kurdish and Persian New Year! Ismaili CIVIC will join us in the Art Studio for some fun hands-on crafting!
Catch a special Nowruz storytime with our wonderful Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations, Lilly Heidari, at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM at the CMA Stage, and create your very own Nowruz torch in the Art Studio!
This event is a part of our series of Celebrate programs – a cultural exploration featuring celebrations from around the world. Our Celebrate programs are made possible through partnerships with Atlanta’s myriad cultural organizations. Together we provide learning experiences through dancing, singing, storytelling, puppetry, and more!

Join us at the CMA Stage for a special Nowruz storytime! We'll be learning about a Haft-Seen table, which is a display of seven symbolic items that start with the letter "S" in Persian to celebrate the Persian New Year!
