COOKING WORKSHOP

Thursday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at the Metropolitan Library
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The Museum is hosting a (free) 30-minute cooking workshop at the Metropolitan Library. During the workshop you and your child will make a peach and granola parfait together.
The workshop is designed for one caregiver with 1-2 children ages 3-8 years old. Please plan to arrive five minutes early at 10:55 a.m.
Please register for the workshop. Spaces are limited.
WHAT KIDS WILL LEARN
This workshop is designed to help kids develop their capacity to follow step-by-step processes, to be inquisitive, and to understand how different people might approach the same task. The children will have the opportunity to eat what they’ve made and listen to a storytime.
SUPPORTING OUR RESEARCH
Thank you for supporting Children's Museum of Atlanta's research by attending this workshop. At the end of the workshop, caregivers will be asked to fill out a survey on the program's impact. While this is the only cooking workshop we have planned at this time, we hope that this experience will teach us how to serve our community with similar workshops in the future. Your experience, observations and insights are important to us. Thank you!
