Accessibility Toolbar Improves Community Web Access

You may have noticed a new feature on our site. It’s our accessibility toolbar! At Children’s Museum of Atlanta, our mission is to reach every Metro Atlanta child and their family with the power of play. We want every family to feel at home in the Museum, in the community at our programs, and in our digital spaces.

Digital Accessibility

To fulfill this mission, we now provide assistive technology on our website. With our accessibility and language toolbar, online guests can access a wide range of support tools to customize their digital experience and best meet their needs.

About 25% of our community may encounter barriers when exploring our website due to having a disability, learning difficulty, visual impairment, or needing information in a language other than English. The toolbar allows guests to access our content and services barrier-free.

The Recite Me assistive toolbar on our website includes screen reading in several languages, multiple reading aids, translation of over 100 languages, and customizable color, font, and size styling options.

We hope you find the toolbar helpful! Read on for a handy user guide on the full suite of tools and how to use them.
