We’re celebrating Kwanzaa at the Museum! Join us and our special guest, Nguzo Babies, on Saturday, December 19 for a musical and storytelling performance of The Missing Candle: A Kwanzaa Mystery on the CMA Stage at 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm!
The Missing Candle is an interactive Kwanzaa performance that introduces young children to the celebration through music, storytelling, movement, humor and a playful mystery. As the characters search for the missing candle, children become part of the adventure: singing, moving, answering questions and helping uncover clues along the way. Designed especially for children and families, The Missing Candle combines the energy of a live character show with the warmth of holiday storytelling to create a Kwanzaa celebration kids can actively experience rather than simply watch.
⭐️ Nguzo Babies is a colorful children’s entertainment brand where music, storytelling, puppetry and larger-than-life characters come together for interactive fun! Through original shows and live performances, Nguzo Babies creates joyful, culturally rooted experiences that invite children to sing, move, laugh and become part of the adventure.
Please note: This show will include characters in mascot costumes!
Included in Museum admission.
