Celebrate Day of the Dead: A Cultural Exploration

November 03, 2019

Join Alma Mexicana at Children’s Museum of Atlanta for a special celebration of the Day of the Dead. Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday when family and friends gather to remember loved ones who have passed away. Celebrate the music, movements, and traditional clothing of Dia de los Muertos with guest performer, Alma Mexicana Danza Folklorica, an Atlanta-based dance group that presents traditional Mexican dances.  Join the Imaginators on stage for a fabulous storytime with Rosita y Conchita by Erich Haeger and look for fun Dia de los Muertos crafts in our studios.  If you like to dance, join the Imaginators for a Skeleton Family Dance at 12 & 3!
