The Museum’s Homeschool Days are designed for the unique educational needs of homeschool students who will spend an afternoon enjoying facilitated activities and workshops. Perfect for grade levels K through 4th grade, the Museum Homeschool Days program activities teach important concepts including math, science, language arts, and social studies.

Focus: Exploring Things That Move & Go
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Homeschool Day times and activities:
12:00 pm: Arrival/Check-in and Planet Rock Show on CMA Stage
1:00 pm: Science Show with Professor Lab Coat on CMA Stage
1:30 pm: Help design a classroom Obstacle Course in the Discovery Lab
2:00 pm: Mini-Musical Planet Rock
2:00 pm:  Build your own Catapult in the Exploration Lab or enjoy Music and Movement on the main-stage
2:30 pm: Explore balance and design by creating Wire Sculptures in the Discovery Lab
3:00 pm: Space Math/Skeleton Puzzle Race with Professor Lab Coat in the Exploration Lab
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Explore Museum Floor exploration and departure

TICKETS:
$15 for non-Member children
$5 for Member children
Adults are free

Tickets must be purchased in advance, no later than the day prior to the program. Tickets are not available the day of.

Homeschool groups, as well as non-home school groups, are always welcome to enjoy the Museum Field Trip program.
