Health & Wellness Fridays: Japanese Bento

Join us while we learn how to make bento lunches with the Japan-America Society of Georgia!

What is bento?
A bento is a Japanese packed meal. These meals are typically carried in bento boxes, which are divided into several parts so users can conveniently carry rice, vegetables, meat, and more.

In addition to being convenient, bentos are full of imagination – they are colorful, creative, and come in many different styles. In the video, you probably noticed a penguin made out of rice and a frog made out of broccoli!

Homemade bentos are a great way to show your friends and family that you love and care for them. What are some foods that you might make for a loved one?
