January 9 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Mini-Musical – 11:00 AM & 12:00 PM

Hilarity Academy written by John Jenkins – Congratulations! You have all been accepted to Hilarity Academy, a place where comedy and science collide. Join Professor Punchline as he teaches Jo King how to use laughter to engage in the world around him. You might even find yourself in the middle of a joke.

Science Bar – open 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Science is everywhere, but it’s especially on the mezzanine at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta! Staffed by a STEM educator with a whole menu full of fun activities and a whole head full of knowledge, the Science Bar is where questions turn into answers!

Art Studio – open 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

The projects in the Art Studio connect and are inspired by the traveling exhibits in the museum as well as cultural holidays. Children discover colors and explore artists from around the world. Inspired by Sid the Science Kid, projects may relate to different science topics including 3D teeth models, X-Ray pictures, secret messages using invisible ink, and making a bouncy ball.

Build It Lab – open 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Children will enjoy this supervised space where they have access to real tools and materials needed to spark creativity, nurture curious minds, and ignite the next wave of innovators. Woodworking and other popular maker skills encourage visitors to be curious, creative and innovative. Projects may include building your own catapult!
