Super Spectacular Science Show – 4:00 PM
Every afternoon, Professor Labcoat shares a fascinating science demonstration with the whole museum! Join him to see what kind of fun he and his assistants have cooked up! Questions are encouraged at the end of the show.
Music & Movement – 5:00 PM
Oh no! Our award-winning apple pie has been stolen right before the Pi Day Festival Baking Contest. Children will use their imaginations, work together, and solve puzzles as they search the Museum for the missing pieces. Join us for our annual mathematical Pi Day Music and Movement celebration and help us search for 17 pies on honor of Pi Day 2017!
Science Bar – 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Science is everywhere, but it’s especially on the mezzanine at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta! Step Up to Science is our new STEM exhibit area, and it features interactive exhibits that will teach children about light, robotics, and the way their bodies work! Kids and adults can also saddle up to the Science Bar. Staffed by a STEM educator with a whole menu full of fun activities and a whole head full of knowledge, the Science Bar is where questions turn into answers!
Art Studio – 10:30-5:00 PM
Children will make foam Pi day oven mitts to help them remember that Pi = 3.14.
Build It Lab – 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Come to the Build it Lab and use a hammer and nails to create your own Pi symbol wall hanger.
