Meet the Holidays: Passover

Learn about Passover, the major Jewish spring festival that commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery, all weekend at Children’s Museum of Atlanta.
Storytime – 2:00 PM
My First Passover by Tomie dePaola – The Museum’s interactive storytime celebrates Passover as children learn about the history and traditions surrounding this special holiday.
Music & Movement – 3:00 PM
Grab an instrument and join the Imaginators as they teach children the Passover song Dayenu (דַּיֵּנוּ “It Would Have Been Enough”).
Art Studio Projects – 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Red Sea Replica Bottle – Children will learn the story of Passover and use different liquids to replicate their own Red Sea.
Build It Lab – 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Miriam’s Tambourine – Children will make a tambourine, similar to the one Miriam played when her brother Moses parted the Red Sea and lead the Jewish people out of Egypt.
