Storytime -1:00 PM
Join the Imaginators for a special storytime focused on finding the similarities between us, and appreciating each other’s differences. In the sugary sweet tale, We All Love Pancakes written by Jennifer Greevy and illustrated by Jesse Mader, the main character Logan moves to a new neighborhood and learns to value the unique differences between him and his new friends, and learns that despite their differences, they all love pancakes!

Science Bar – open 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Science is everywhere, but it’s especially on the mezzanine at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta! Staffed by a STEM educator with a whole menu full of fun activities and a whole head full of knowledge, the Science Bar is where questions turn into answers!
Art Studio – open 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
The projects in the Art Studio connect and are inspired by the traveling exhibits in the museum as well as cultural holidays. Children discover colors and explore artists from around the world. Inspired by the themes of our interim Mini Musical, A Better Me, A Better You, create your own paper plate emoji wheel.
Build It Lab – open 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Children will enjoy this supervised space where they have access to real tools and materials needed to spark creativity, nurture curious minds, and ignite the next wave of innovators. Woodworking and other popular maker skills encourage visitors to be curious, creative and innovative. Inspired by the themes of our interim Mini Musical, A Better Me, A Better You, children will be given the tools to build their own Friendship Box – a keepsake box to collect invaluable trinkets or special notes from their closest friends. If time permits, our tiny tinkerers may even build a matching box for their favorite friend.
