MUSEUM PARTIES

  • Offered Saturday and Sundays.
  • Morning or afternoon parties available.
  • Included admission for up to 20 people (including the party child and immediate family) and up to 1 hour in a private party room.
  • Up to 10 additional guests can be added for an additional (discounted) cost for a max of 30 total people (includes all children & adults).  
  • Babies 11 months and younger are free and do not count towards the total number of guests.
  • Recommended for children 2-8 years of age.
  • Museum Parties are designed to be stress-free and allow you and your guests to focus on exploring our exhibits, and to take a quick break in a private party room to celebrate the guest of honor with cake and snacks.

To schedule your Museum Party, call Reservations at (404) 527-3693. or begin the reservation process by filling out the request form at the link below and a representative will email from [email protected] to finalize your reservation. Dates are subject to availability.   

 

Reservations are required no less than 14 days prior to the party date. It is recommended you make your reservation at least 4-6 weeks in advance. Full payment is due at the time of booking, see cancellation policy for refund information.   

FAQ

The Museum Party accommodates up to 20 guests, including the party child and immediate family. Up to 10 additional guests may be added for an additional cost and must be paid prior to your party. Parties and Party Room have a maximum number of 30 total people permitted (this includes all adults & children). Babies 11 months and younger are free and do not count towards the maximum capacity.  

Drop-off parties are not permitted, and children must have their adults with them at all times throughout the Museum.  

Maximum capacity for our party room is 30 people. 

Memberships are not valid for admission into parties.

The party room is already set up for a celebration. You are welcome to bring your own themed tablecloths. Additional decorations, including table decor and items that hang from the walls and ceiling, are not allowed. Due to choking hazards and latex allergies, all balloons are prohibited. 

Members receive a discount on Museum Parties. Free Membership tickets are only valid towards general admission and not valid towards party admission.  

Museum Parties are designed to be stress-free and allow you and your guests to focus on exploring our exhibits, and to take a quick break in a private party room to celebrate the guest of honor with cake and snacks.  

The Museum permits cake, cupcakes, and prepackaged individual snacks and drinks. Some examples include boxed meals, prepackaged bags of chips, cookies, pretzels, go-go squeeze, goldfish, juice boxes and bottled water.  No other food is permitted on site (food deliveries, platters, refrigerated or freezer items not permitted).

A party room is included with your booking. Party families will have an hour in a party room after Museum play time. 45 minutes for cake, snacks, and celebrating and 15 minutes for cleanup before exiting The room is equipped with tables and chairs. The tables are provided with colorful coverings. The host family is welcome to bring themed tablecloths. Additional decorations are not permitted. The party room will be opened 15 minutes prior to the party time for the host family to set up.

Balloons, confetti, glass containers, alcoholic beverages, any type of heating/warming stations, (e.g., hot plates, crock pots, microwaves, etc.) radios, music (portable Bluetooth speakers allowed), decorations, live animals (unless they are a service animal), and outside entertainment (e.g., clowns, magicians, costumed characters, face painters, party planners, photographers).  

Parties are only permitted in the designated party room with your reservation. Food, gifts, and all other party items will not be permitted on the Museum floor.  

Museum Parties are recommended for children turning 2 to 8 years old.  

Due to its popularity, it is advised that you book as soon as possible. Reservations should be made at least 4-6 weeks prior to your requested date.

 Agreement and Guest List are sent via email. Check junk folder if you are not receiving our emails.   

The Museum does not provide any party supplies including cake cutter, candles, lighter, plates, napkins, etc. Host family is responsible for providing all party supplies permitted and mentioned on the guest list.
